Puppy HEALTH GUARANTEE

Our puppies are all health checked by our veterinarian and are up to date on all worming medicine and immunizations.  We have included a written record for you to show your vet. There is no way to predict how a puppy will deal with the change of a new home and its new owners. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to carefully and slowly transition the puppy to any change in diet and to provide the most stress free transition to their new living environment and ownership as possible. Internal parasites, including various intestinal worms, coccidia, and giardia are a common cause of problems in all breeds of young puppies. Even though your puppy has been dewormed before you adopted him/her, please understand that puppy wormers are only effective against adult worms and do not kill larva that can be easily picked up by your puppy. Young puppies need frequent deworming to protect them as they develop. It is the responsibility of the buyer(s) to continue any necessary deworming of their puppy under the care of a licensed veterinarian.

Do not expose your puppy to other dogs that are not vaccinated until he/she has completed the entire vaccination schedule - around 16-20 weeks old.

Within 30 days of purchasing your new puppy, you must take him/her to a licensed veterinarian for an examination.  If the veterinarian determines, within 30 days of your purchase, that your dog is clinically ill or has died from an injury sustained or illness likely to have been contracted in or before the date of sale and delivery, and the seller’s vet agrees, you have the following options:

1.Return the dog for a complete refund (excluding shipping/traveling costs). or

2.Return the dog for a replacement dog from the same litter if sellers still have one available.

If, within 30 days of purchase, a licensed veterinarian determines that your dog has a congenital or hereditary defect, you have the same option as outlined above. You must notify the seller of the examining veterinarian’s name, address, and phone number within 2 days of the vet’s certification of your dog’s illness.  Failure to notify the seller within 2 business days will result in forfeiture of rights.

The breeder assumes no responsibility of puppy after the puppy leaves the sellers premises or agreed on meeting location, for any medical expenses, disease, mortality unrelated to breeding practices, landlord or spouse disapproval, shedding, personality or training.  Buyer understands the size of the puppy at maturity cannot be guaranteed. Buyer also understands that the sellers prediction of adult weight, coat color, coat type, and height are estimates only, and we are not responsible for any of these, disagreements of family members, or any other reasons not relating to health, and no refunds will be given. However, should Buyer wish to return the puppy for any reason, he/she may do so, understanding that no refund will be given.

This Health Guarantee is put in place to ensure the buyer that they are receiving a healthy puppy, and to ensure the seller that the puppy is being adopted in a suitable home that will love and take care of the puppy.
